Melissa Watson’s legal expertise spans the full spectrum of real estate and business law. She has extensive experience conducting title research and curing title defects, drafting company agreements and business transaction contracts, preparing deeds and owner finance documents, and advising on commercial lending—including bridge lending. She also regularly collaborates with family law attorneys to ensure proper execution of property conveyances during divorce proceedings, and she drafts legal documents for title companies across a variety of transaction types.

Her strong negotiating skills and deep understanding of business law allow her to advocate effectively and correct personal and financial injustices for her clients. Whether helping to form a new business or untangle a complicated title issue, Melissa Watson offers solutions rooted in both experience and care.
Before founding her own firm, Melissa Watson spent five years practicing real estate and business law, simple estate planning, and assisting in litigation at a local firm. Prior to that, she worked for over a decade as an oil and gas title attorney in Texas and Colorado for major national oil companies. During this time, she rendered drilling, division order, acquisition, and supplemental title opinions on fee, federal, and state lands. She began her career in oil and gas as a field landman, gaining hands-on experience that laid the groundwork for her transactional and title-focused practice today.
